Often times, it’s the adults who create scavenger hunts for kids. But with this mom scavenger hunt, the kid can be the one in charge. It has 12 items total, many of which you can interpret on your own. It’s a perfect reason to spend quality time with mom and learn more about each other along the way.
Learn to create your own hunt.
This scavenger hunt is a great way to get started exploring with mom. Then the next step is to create your own version. You know mom best, so what are items that she would appreciate searching for? Does she have favorite things or places in the backyard or neighborhood? Put those on the list! You could also go hang out in some of your mom’s favorite spots and observe what you see. Those would be good things to put on the list, too.
