This Bug Scavenger Hunt is a Great Way to Learn About Insects

Bug Scavenger Hunt

Insects are cool, and they definitely deserve a bug scavenger hunt all on their own. While some kids aren’t too sure about bugs, they really are pretty cool. This scavenger hunt encourages kids to actually love and appreciate the bugs you see outside. Don’t be afraid of bugs—go out and look for them instead!

Learn about bugs as you go.

This scavenger hunt is a great one to encourage your kids to learn about the bugs and insects they see right in their own backyard and neighborhood. After you find a bug on the list, try to look it up to learn something new. Pretty much all the bugs on this list are beneficial in some way, so what good can they bring to your yard and area? As you learn about these bugs and see them outside, you’ll start to see them and appreciate them even more. Pretty soon, you’ll start noticing many other bugs and insects, even beyond this list.
